Beacon Hill Legal is seeking an experienced Contracts Attorney with a strong background in construction and transportation for a temporary to permanant role. This role will work cross-functionally with multiple departments, taking a proactive approach to aligning stakeholders, resolving issues, and moving business initiatives forward. This role is on-site in our client’s Dallas office.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including SaaS agreements, NDAs, real estate leases, and equipment finance transactions.
- Manage financing deal closings, ensuring all conditions are satisfied and handling post-closing tasks (e.g., UCC filings, documentation, archiving).
- Oversee preparation and execution of equipment lease and financing documents, with responsibility for timely and accurate regulatory filings.
- Maintain organized contract records, track key deadlines, and monitor compliance obligations.
- Support process improvement by implementing CLM systems, refining templates, and optimizing workflows to increase efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or legal studies required; JD or paralegal certification strongly preferred.
- 7+ years’ experience in contracts, legal operations, or related fields, ideally with exposure to UCC filings, secured transactions, or equipment financing.
- Skilled in contract management tools, with excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively, with professionalism, adaptability, and a proactive mindset.
