Account Specialist – Atlanta, GA
We are seeking a Account Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity located in Atlanta, GA. This role is responsible for managing accurate invoices, tracking payments, resolving discrepancies, and collecting outstanding invoices while delivering excellent customer experience with each interaction. This is an onsite position, Monday-Friday.
Daily Duties:
* Responsible for the day-to-day tasks of client billing and account collection
* Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner
* Provide outstanding customer service, maintaining a polite, helpful, and professional manner
* Communicate with clients to ensure charges are accurate and that payments are received in a timely manner
* Collect on outstanding invoices
* Maintain accurate records of client information, invoices, and receipts
* Ensure billing is calculated accurately for client invoices
* Deposit all physical checks received at the corporate office
* Perform general administrative duties such as answering phones, responding to emails, and other office tasks
* Identify common problems and escalate them to management, sharing customer feedback to improve services
* Always respect client, reporter, videographer, and interpreter confidentiality
* Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Ideal Candidate:
* 3+ years of experience in accounting support or a related administrative field
* Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
* Strong time management and people skills
