Our client, a healthcare organization in Austin, TX is currently looking for a Permanent Corporate Trainer to join their team. This role starts fully onsite for the first few months before shifting to a hybrid schedule of one day working from home. Hours for this position are either 8:30 am – 4:30 pm or 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. This individual will be working closely with HR, Operations and Clinical Leadership to strengthen training programs and align staff development with compliance and performance goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging instructor-led and virtual training sessions for non-clinical and administrative staff.
- Design and deliver programs that build leadership capabilities and enhance workforce development.
- Tailor learning delivery methods for diverse audiences, including clinical, administrative, and leadership teams.
- Build and maintain training programs from the ground up using modern eLearning software and instructional design techniques.
- Collaborate with department leaders to assess training needs and identify skill gaps.
- Develop metrics and evaluation tools to measure training effectiveness and implement improvements.
- Deliver and document training aligned with healthcare regulatory requirements (HIPAA, OSHA).
- Maintain compliance training records for audits and accreditation.
- Partner with HR, Operations, and Clinical Education to align training with company-wide initiatives.
- Act as a subject matter resource for training best practices in healthcare and compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Healthcare, Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in corporate training; 3+ years in healthcare or a highly regulated industry preferred.
- Strong background in training program development, instructional design, and program evaluation.
- Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and project management abilities.
- Demonstrated adaptability, emotional intelligence, and collaboration across departments.
- Healthcare experience preferred
