Job Title: Patent Documentation Coordinator
Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid – 1-2 days per week onsite)
Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
Compensation: $19.25/hour

Position Summary
The Patent Documentation Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the international patent filing process. This position ensures that clients are kept informed about the status of their foreign patent portfolios and assists with the preparation and coordination of related documentation and communications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and update clients on the status of their foreign patent matters.
- Draft responses for attorney review and send instructions to foreign associates.
- Prepare and maintain pending claim sets for international filings.
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical client files; update Foundation IP and client databases.
- Act as a liaison between attorneys, paralegals, and assigned clients.
- Communicate with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) as needed.
- Draft and send correspondence to clients and international associates.
- Prepare formal documents for client signatures and ensure timely return and filing.
- Send national stage reminder letters to clients.
- Record and maintain client-specific preferences and requirements.
- Stay informed on firm procedures, CMG manual guidelines, and client protocols.
- Provide backup support to team members as needed.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
