A Florida law firm seeks a Paralegal with Trust & Estates experience to join their Sarasota, FL office.
Essential Functions
- Draft fundamental estate planning and funding documents.
- Review of advanced estate planning documents.
- Draft probate and trust settlement documents.
- Knowledge of the rules of procedure governing estate and trust administrations as they relate to this role.
- Completing tasks and following through with issue resolution, including the ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
- At least five years of experience working in a mid to large-sized Florida law firm as an estate planning or estate and trust administration Paralegal.
- Florida probate experience.

- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure and time constraints.
- Ability to effectively balance multiple assignments and workflow.
- Strong attention to detail, essential for accurately drafting and reviewing legal documents.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly express thoughts to others and exchange information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including extensive knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and experience working with law firm case management and billing software required.
- Knowledge of iManage, SmartTime, Aderant, Wealth Counsel, Estate Works, and Hot Docs are a plus.
- Physical attendance at the place of work.
- Generally, core working hours are from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with the flexibility to work overtime as needed.
