Job Description:
Provide expert tax preparation, planning, and advisory services for individuals, businesses, and fiduciaries. Review and approve complex tax returns while ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Serve as a key advisor to clients, offering strategic tax solutions and maintaining strong professional relationships.
Manage multiple client engagements, monitor timelines and budgets, and identify opportunities to enhance client services. Contribute to the firm’s efficiency, profitability, and quality standards through process improvements and leadership support.
Supervise, mentor, and develop staff, promoting a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and professional growth. Collaborate with leadership to support departmental goals and drive overall firm success.
This is an open-ended contract position.
What You Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
Master’s degree in Taxation or MBA a plus
Active CPA license in good standing or an active Enrolled Agent (EA) designation
6-10+ years of progressive tax experience in a public accounting firm
Prior supervisory experience required
Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws
Proficiency with tax software such as CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, or UltraTax
