Job Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper
Location: Tremont Area, Cleveland, OH
Compensation: $28 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time (20 hours per week) – Flexible schedule (3 full days or spread across 5 days)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team. Position Summary
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for supporting the organization’s day-to-day accounting operations using QuickBooks. This position ensures accurate and timely financial data management, assists with reconciliations, and supports reporting and audit preparation.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks, including data entry and transaction management.

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.

Prepare and reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and balance sheets.

Assist with audit preparation and documentation requests.

Support the preparation of annual reports, tax filings, and other required financial documents.

Collaborate with staff to ensure accurate allocation of funds and compliance with nonprofit financial guidelines.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a nonprofit environment.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Familiarity with general ledger accounting principles.
