Our client, a manufacturing company, is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to identify talent in Engineering, Corporate, and Skilled labor positions. The Corporate Recruiter will support recruitment efforts throughout the United States with a focus on developing and execute a “best-in-class” employee relations strategy to attract and recruit top-level candidates. This position is a temporary role based in Elgin with the hours of 8-5pm Monday through Friday. Once training is completed, there is an option for a hybrid schedule working from home two days a week.
Responsibilities
· Enjoy the challenge of finding and attracting top talent and possess a “hunter” mentality.
· Source and build a pipeline of candidates utilizing a variety of sources including referrals, networking, direct sourcing, LinkedIn and other social media platforms, etc.
· Advanced knowledge and proven track record in social media recruiting. Create innovative sourcing strategies to proactively recruit passive candidates. Review, edit and create advertisements for active openings
· Pre-screen candidates, review resumes, phone/ zoom interviews, reference, and background checks, offer letters, rejection letters, testing, completion of all pre- and post-employment paperwork/tasks, etc.
· Be a consultative partner to your internal customers by providing influence, new ideas, strategic recruiting.
· Ability to learn and penetrate competitive and adjacent markets to maximize recruiting efforts
· Be metrics oriented and strive for the best results and adapt to an ever changing and growing business (flexible and agile).
· Effectively use an applicant tracking system, highly organized and efficient with high sense of urgency.
Qualifications
· 4+ years full cycle recruiting experience, Engineering focus preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Demonstrated business and sales acumen in the recruiting approach
· Advanced and aggressive recruiting capabilities using traditional and non-traditional methods to successfully identify passive talent and generate viable candidate flow
· Expert level experience using web-based recruiting platforms, social media, and other relevant tools for candidate sourcing and lead generation
· Ability to build relationships and work with all levels of the organization across various business units
· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
· Advocate and support diversity and inclusion and working knowledge of employment regulations and HR policies and procedures related to staffing
· Experience using data and workforce analytics to target recruiting efforts
