A global law firm seeks a Litigation Paralegal to join their team in the Miami office.
Position: Paralegal – Non-Exempt
Hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm ET
Schedule: Hybrid after 60 days of employment – two days remote
Paralegal Responsibilities:

- Draft, format, and prepare affidavits, correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents for attorney review.
- Organize, maintain, and manage both physical and electronic case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Track deadlines, schedule hearings, and maintain case calendars to support litigation teams.
- Assist with all aspects of discovery, including document review, production, and maintaining discovery databases and indexes.
- Organize and prepare exhibits, evidence, briefs, and appendices for depositions, hearings, and trials.
- File pleadings in state and federal courts (including electronic filing through PACER/ECF and state systems).
- Provide comprehensive trial support: coordinating logistics, preparing witness binders, organizing exhibits, and managing on-site trial needs.
- Act as a liaison between attorneys, clients, experts, and vendors to ensure smooth case management.
Paralegal Requirements:
- 2-5 years of paralegal experience in litigation (complex commercial or trial experience preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with litigation support tools (e.g., Relativity, CaseMap, TrialDirector) strongly preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while also thriving in team settings.
- Flexibility to work overtime regularly as needed, including evenings and weekends, particularly in the lead-up to and during trials.
