Juris Doctor (Non-Licensed) – Contract Analysis & Document Review
Contract / Temporary (Full-time and project-based roles available)
Onsite (Dallas / DFW) and Remote opportunities available
Overview
We are seeking Juris Doctor (JD) professionals (non-licensed welcome) to support a variety of contract analysis, harmonization, and document review projects for corporate legal departments and related engagements.
These roles offer the opportunity to work on high-volume, process-driven legal initiatives involving procurement contracts, commercial agreements, and large-scale document review matters. Assignments may be onsite or fully remote, depending on the project.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Analysis & Harmonization
- Review and analyze procurement and commercial contracts for key terms and provisions
- Extract, organize, and standardize contract data for reporting and system migration efforts
- Support contract harmonization initiatives, including template alignment and clause consistency
- Identify deviations, risks, and inconsistencies within agreements and escalate as appropriate
Document Review
- Perform first-level review of documents for relevance, responsiveness, and issue identification
- Apply coding, tagging, and categorization within review platforms
- Assist with QC processes to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Follow established protocols and workflows for large-scale review projects
Operations & Process Support
- Utilize contract templates, playbooks, and defined workflows to ensure consistency
- Support data entry, tracking, and organization of contract records
- Collaborate with project teams, legal stakeholders, and operations personnel
- Contribute to process improvement and efficiency initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) required (active bar license not required)
- Strong interest in legal operations, contracts, or document review work
- Experience with contract review, eDiscovery, or high-volume legal work preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or data-driven environments strongly preferred
- Familiarity with tools such as Relativity, Everlaw, or CLM platforms is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
