Beacon Hill Legal is seeking an experienced Probate Litigation Paralegal to join a full-service, prominent regional law firm in Downtown Houston. As the Probate Litigation Paralegal you will work on complex, high-value probate and trust litigation matters. This opportunity is full-time, direct-hire, and fully on-site with flexible work hours.
Core Responsibilities
- Partner with attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case inception to trial and closure
- Draft and file pleadings, discovery responses, and court documents
- Prepare exhibits, manage eDiscovery, and support depositions, hearings, and mediations
- Handle probate pleadings, estate tax returns, trust accountings, and funding calculations
- Oversee trust administration, probate, and conservatorships
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Associates degree
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience supporting trial attorneys, preferably in the area(s) of estate planning, probate, guardianship, and trust matters preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and technical proficiency
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
