Junior Staff Accountant
Location: [Hybrid – Bridgewater, NJ]
Pay: $60,000-$70,000
Type: Contract‑to‑Hire
Beacon Hill is partnering with a pharmaceuticals manufacturer that is looking to bring on a Junior Staff Accountant to support their growing accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for hands‑on exposure to both AP and AR while working closely alongside the Controller.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Process vendor invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Support customer billing, cash applications, and AR tracking
- Post journal entries and assist with month‑end close
- Perform account reconciliations and help resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate financial records in the general ledger
- Assist with financial reporting and ad‑hoc accounting projects
- Work closely with the Controller to gain exposure to higher‑level accounting functions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 1-2+ years of accounting experience or relevant internship experience
- Exposure to AP/AR, general ledger, or month‑end close
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in Excel; accounting system experience a plus
- Eager to learn and grow within an accounting team
