Location: Brooklyn Park, MN
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Duration: December 17 or 18 through January (Closed December 24-25 and December 31-January 1) – Opportunity for hire!
Pay: $23-$25 an hour
Position Overview
Beacon Hill’s client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Front Desk & Office Coordinator to manage day-to-day office operations and provide exceptional support to employees, vendors, and guests. This temporary role is critical in maintaining a welcoming environment and ensuring smooth administrative processes.
This role is temporary through January, with the opportunity to be considered for a full-time opening.
Key Responsibilities

Reception & Communication
- Welcome vendors, employees, and guests professionally.
- Answer and transfer phone calls promptly and accurately.

Office & Facility Management
- Keep common areas and break rooms clean, organized, and stocked.
- Maintain coffee stations and ensure refreshments are available.
- Order office supplies and coordinate lunch orders as needed.

Mail & Shipping
- Sort and distribute incoming mail accurately.
- Manage outgoing mail and shipping, including coordination with accounting.

Administrative Support
- Assist with meeting planning and virtual meeting setup.
- Maintain email and phone distribution lists.
- Partner with HR to ensure new hires are properly set up.
- Seek out additional tasks and opportunities to support the team.

Other Duties
- Represent the company professionally to customers, vendors, and business contacts.
- Handle miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
- Previous experience in office coordination or administrative support preferred.
