Are you an Accountant or aspiring Accountant with tax experience and ready to get to work ASAP? We have an amazing opportunity for you, so let’s talk! This Tax Staff Accountant would be working on a temporary basis through tax season with a well-established CPA firm located in Lynnwood, WA. This is an on-site role to start, with the potential for hybrid flexibility (2 days remote) after trust is established, typically after the first month.
This opportunity allows you to get started quickly and work closely with a collaborative, professional accounting team during their busiest time of year.
In this position, you would be responsible for:
- Preparing and supporting individual and business tax returns
- Performing tax research and identifying tax and accounting issues
- Assisting with tax planning and compliance projects
- Preparing workpapers and supporting documentation for partner review
- Working closely with managers and partners throughout engagements
- Communicating with internal admin staff to support client needs
- Supporting multiple clients ranging from high-net-worth individuals to corporations
If you have:
- A degree in Accounting
- 1+ year of experience supporting tax returns and tax season
- A solid understanding of tax principles, tax law, and research
