A well-established organization in Los Angeles is hiring an Accounting Clerk to support daily accounting and administrative functions within a fast-paced finance team. This is a 100% onsite role and a great opportunity for someone who enjoys structured work, accuracy-driven tasks, and supporting multiple finance processes.
This position supports a high-volume environment and will assist with financial data entry, invoice management, payment processing support, reconciliations, and document control.
What You’ll Do
- Enter, update, and maintain financial information in internal systems
- Support invoice processing including coding, routing for approval, and documentation tracking
- Assist with payment posting and basic accounts receivable support
- Help with account reconciliations and research discrepancies as needed
- Maintain accurate records for reporting and compliance (electronic and paper filing)
- Support month-end close preparation tasks
- Communicate with internal teams and external vendors regarding invoice/payment questions
- Provide general administrative support to the finance and accounting team
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year of experience supporting accounting, AP/AR, or finance operations preferred
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfortable in a high-volume, process-driven environment
- Basic understanding of invoices, payments, and accounting fundamentals
- Strong Excel skills (sorting/filtering, data entry, basic formulas)
- Professional communication skills and strong organizational habits
