Beacon Hill Associates is seeking a Payroll Assistant for Wire Transfer Support.
This is a part-time, opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with payroll, banking, or finance operations experience. The role supports payroll processing by coordinating banking updates and resolving wire transfer issues to ensure accurate and timely payments.
Assignment Details:
Assignment Length: One-year assignment
Start Date: After interviews are completed
Schedule: 18 hours per week
Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
Coordinate banking updates related to international payroll and wire transfers
Support new bank setups, payment changes, reallocations, and payment holds
Validate payroll payment instructions including ACH, SWIFT, IBAN, routing and country-specific requirements
Perform payroll audits to ensure payment accuracy
Track, document, and resolve wire transfer issues through completion
Investigate payment issues and support wire corrections or reversals when needed
Maintain organized and accurate payroll and banking documentation
Communicate clearly with payroll, finance, and employees regarding payment status
Assist with additional payroll and administrative tasks as assigned
Ideal Candidate:
Associate’s degree preferred
2-4 years of experience in payroll, finance operations, or banking support
Experience with ACH, wire transfers, and international payments preferred
Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word
