Role Overview
The Systems Engineer plays a key role in designing, deploying, and supporting large-scale, complex systems across the enterprise. This is intentionally a generalist position suited for someone with strong foundational infrastructure knowledge who wants to broaden their capabilities across cloud, private cloud, virtualization, systems integration, and enterprise platforms. You’ll collaborate with both technical teams and non-technical business partners to understand needs, identify solutions, modernize systems, and support critical enterprise technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and deploy large-scale enterprise systems across private cloud (VMware, OCI), public cloud (AWS, GCP), and on-prem infrastructure.
- Evaluate existing systems to understand capabilities, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Partner with non-technical business stakeholders to translate requirements into sound technical solutions.
- Participate in and support the layout, design, configuration, and installation of new systems or modifications to existing infrastructure.
- Lead or contribute to systems integration projects involving both hardware and software components.
- Support enterprise information systems, ERP applications, and internet technologies.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system deficiencies or performance issues.
- Continuously learn and adopt modern tools, platforms, and methodologies.
