Our client, a financial services firm is in search of a temporary Bookkeeper. This is an open ended temporary role requiring the ability to work on-site in Irvine a few times per month. Prior experience in financial servies is ideal and a minimum of 2 years of accounting experienec. Day to day responsibilities:
- Manage full‑cycle bookkeeping, including AP/AR, reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and journal entries
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements and client reports; maintain audit‑ready documentation
- Support client onboarding, data migration, and chart of accounts setup in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero)
- Assist with special and ad‑hoc projects such as ledger clean‑ups, forensic accounting, and post‑transaction support
- Collaborate with team members to improve workflows, document processes, and identify automation opportunities
- Provide excellent client service through timely communication, issue resolution, and coordination with internal and offshore teams
