Our client, a public accounting firm located in Sugar Land, Texas, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations. This role will provide general administrative support to ensure efficient and organized workflow within the team.
This is a contract position running from March 2nd, 2026 to April 17th, 2026. This position is fully onsite in Sugar Land, Monday through Friday, approximately 4 hours per day, in a business casual office environment. Usual hours are between 9 am – 1 pm or 10 am – 2 pm. Compensation is between 20-24hr based on experience!
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Manage calendars and schedule meetings
- Draft and respond to emails and correspondence
- Maintain filing systems (electronic and paper)
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documents as needed
- Order office supplies and manage inventory
- Assist with data entry and record keeping
- Provide general support to leadership and team members
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of administrative or office experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
