Payroll Analyst

We are seeking an analyst-level Payroll Analyst to support a high-volume, multi-state payroll environment within a large organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze payroll data using advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) to identify discrepancies and trends
• Proactively flag issues, investigate root causes, and resolve payroll discrepancies
• Support task-oriented, full-cycle payroll processing in a structured environment
• Assist with multi-state payroll and compliance-related activities
• Partner with Payroll and HR teams to resolve pay-related issues accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Strong payroll experience at an analyst level (not just processing)
• Advanced Excel skills required (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs)
• Experience supporting payroll in a large company environment (1,000+ employees preferred)
• Multi-state payroll experience required
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
