Power BI Administrator / Cloud Infra Admin (M365 / Power BI / Azure)
Location: Groton, CT – hybrid 3x onsite per week (Fully onsite for initial ramp-up)

Role Summary
The Cloud Infrastructure Administrator supports and administers Microsoft‑based cloud environments, with a strong focus on Power BI, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and Azure. This role is responsible for day‑to‑day cloud operations, security, governance, and Tier 2/3 support, while also contributing to project‑based initiatives such as system upgrades, migrations, and new cloud solution deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud & Power BI Administration
- Configure, monitor, and maintain Power BI, Power Platform, and Microsoft cloud environments to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Manage cloud resources across Azure and Microsoft 365, including capacity, access, and service health.
- Project Support & Delivery (What They’re Doing on Projects)
- Support PMO‑led cloud and Power BI projects, including:
- Power BI environment upgrades and enhancements
- M365 and Azure migrations (users, data, workloads)
- Deployment of new cloud‑based tools or applications
- Assist with planning, implementation, testing, and post‑deployment support for cloud initiatives.
- Coordinate with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure cloud solutions meet technical and security standards.
- Cloud Governance & Security
- Participate in the Cloud Governance Committee to:
- Review new cloud application requests and deployments
- Help define and enforce standards, policies, and best practices
- Tier 2 / Tier 3 Technical Support
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for escalated issues related to:
- Network connectivity
- Cloud services (M365, Azure, Power BI)
- Client and end‑user access issues
- Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Document system configurations, processes, and support procedures for knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
- Power BI, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and/or Azure – 2+ years
- administering cloud infrastructure in a production environment
- implementing and managing Microsoft 365 services
- Proficiency with Entra ID (Azure AD), Office 365, Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive
- Experience supporting cloud‑based projects such as upgrades, migrations, or new solution deployments
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience providing Tier 2/3 technical support, including advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Knowledge of cloud security, governance, and compliance best practices
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified, Azure Administrator Associate)
- Experience working in government or private cloud environments
