Key Responsibilities
- Process and analyze veterinary patient samples accurately and efficiently
- Operate and monitor high‑throughput laboratory instrumentation
- Perform microscopy procedures, including urinalysis, hematology, and parasite identification
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and meet increasing workload demands
- Utilize Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and interface with related laboratory technologies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations
- Stock, track, and manage laboratory supplies and inventory
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety, quality, and compliance protocols
- Participate in ongoing training, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical, diagnostic, or veterinary laboratory setting
- Proficiency in one or more of the following areas: hematology, coagulation, chemistry, immunoassay, and urinalysis
- Strong technical aptitude with laboratory systems, including LIS or LIMS platforms
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
