Contract Recruiter
Location: Minneapolis, MN 55402
Work Arrangement: Full-Time | Onsite
Compensation: $30-$39 per hour (based on experience)
Contract Length: 3 months, possibility of extension
About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to support high-volume hiring for a growing organization that partners closely with manufacturers to help their products land on retail shelves nationwide. This is a hands-on, relationship-driven recruiting role that requires energy, confidence, and the ability to effectively “sell” both the opportunity and the company culture to candidates.
The majority of roles supported will be Account Manager positions. While most openings are local to the Minneapolis area, this recruiter may also support hiring efforts in additional markets such as Arkansas and Ohio.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-facing environment, enjoys closing candidates into challenging but rewarding roles, and is comfortable managing the administrative side of full-cycle recruiting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for primarily Account Manager roles, from intake through offer acceptance
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, compensation structure, and cultural fit
- Act as a strong ambassador for the company by clearly articulating career growth, culture, and earning potential, especially for roles with variable compensation
- Source, screen, interview, and guide candidates through the hiring process
- Maintain accurate documentation and workflow management within the ATS and recruiting systems
- Support multi-location recruiting efforts, including roles based outside of Minnesota
- Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the process
Qualifications
- 3+ years of full cycle recruiting experience
- Proven ability to recruit and close candidates into roles that require strong communication and sales aptitude
- Outgoing, bubbly personality with confidence in influencing and persuading candidates
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail and comfort handling administrative recruiting tasks
- Ability to thrive in an onsite, collaborative office environment
- Experience recruiting non-technical, client-facing roles is a plus
