Structural Engineer PE

Senior Structural Engineer (Engineer III)

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with extensive experience in civil or structural engineering to lead complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and support project and business development efforts. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and client-facing experience.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (civil or structural)
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant structural engineering experience
• Proven experience progressing beyond mid-level engineering responsibilities

Key Skills & Competencies

• Advanced structural engineering analysis and design
• Experience leading projects and reviewing the work of other engineers
• Strong understanding of structural calculations, plans, specifications, and technical reports
• Project coordination and schedule management experience
• Ability to mentor and train junior engineers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Client-facing experience, including coordination with stakeholders and authorities having jurisdiction
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Familiarity with quality assurance standards, budgeting, and labor tracking
