Beacon Hill Legal is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a highly regarded, full‑service law firm in Austin. As the Litigation Paralegal, you will support multiple attorneys in complex litigation and appellate matters. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated cases from inception through trial and appeal in a collaborative, professional environment. This opportunity is full-time, direct hire, and on-site.
Responsibilities
- Support multiple attorneys across all phases of litigation, including trial and appeal
- Draft, edit, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and related correspondence in compliance with Texas state and federal rules
- Manage case files, calendars, deadlines, billing entries, and scheduling for hearings, depositions, and meetings
- Assist with discovery and trial preparation, including document review and production, litigation holds, exhibit organization, witness preparation, and logistical coordination
- Utilize litigation databases and e‑discovery platforms for document management, transcript review, and cite‑checking; assist with legal and factual research
- Communicate with opposing counsel, court personnel, and internal teams while maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism
- Provide additional litigation and departmental support as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Litigation Paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm or comparable legal setting, with exposure to complex litigation and appellate matters
- Strong knowledge of Texas state and federal e‑filing systems, including federal courts of appeals
- Experience with eDiscovery platforms, document review, and productions; working knowledge of ABA Litigation Codes
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational, project‑management, and deadline‑management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and video‑conferencing platforms
- Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal Certificate preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Willingness to work occasional overtime and travel as needed
