This onsite Desktop Support Analyst will work closely with an existing team member to support day-to-day desktop operations in a primarily Windows environment. Responsibilities include handling support tickets, workstation refreshes, new hire setups, offboarding, and software installations. The role will also support upcoming M&A initiatives, assisting with user account migrations, domain transitions, and related troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate is proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently without needing constant direction. This team values strong work ethic, professionalism, and efficiency – someone who takes initiative and stays focused rather than waiting for tasks to be assigned. Experience with Active Directory GPOs and PowerShell scripting is critical, while Intune experience is preferred but can be flexed on for the right candidate.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years’ experience with desktop support experience in a Windows environment
- Strong Active Directory skills with strong Group Policy – specifically, GPOs (Group Policy Objects)
- PowerShell scripting skills
- Ticket-based support, workstation refreshes, and end-user troubleshooting
- Must be proactive, motivated, professional, and self-directed
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to provide calm, confident support to executive-level stakeholders
Desired Skills:
- Microsoft Intune (application packaging and deployment)
- Experience with M&A-related user migrations and domain transitions
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting A/V and conference room equipment
- Mac OS support experience (nice to have)
