Beacon Hill’s client is seeking a temporary-to-permanent Legal Coordinator to assist with loan file preparation and post-closing compliance.
Logistics
  • Hours 9:00am-5:00pm
  • On site in Haddonfield, NJ
Responsibilities:
  • Obtain assignments from Teams list.
  • Print due diligence according to checklist.
  • Print Label for File (if in-person closing)
  • Open all loan documents, confirm documents are properly dated and the County is filled in on the acknowledgments (this would be where the Closing is to be held)
  • Save updated documents as next version.
  • Print appropriate number of loan documents (if in person closing), or combined loan documents into a pdf file according to checklist with appropriate number of signature pages.
  • Print the prepared Boarding Data sheet, clean checklist and invoice and place it in the front of the accordion.
Post-Closing
In-Person Closing
* Take signed documents from the back shelf according to closing date.
* Remove all documents from accordion- check to make sure that all documents are signed, dated, and notarized where needed
* Place the appropriate tab in Lender’s binder along with due diligence.
* Pull the Boarding Data Sheet and get signed by attorney, then log in the information into Center Base.
* Be sure to check who is responsible for recording. If it is our office, pull the documents to be recorded and give to Closer for recording. Set Center Base task for post-closing follow up. Add additional items as required by BDS.
Mail out/Email Closings
* Obtain signature pages received by our office.
* Print full copy of loan document (if unsure about the document, check the document number in lower left-hand corner)
* Prepare Lender’s binder in the same fashion you would a physical closing.
* Pull the Boarding Data Sheet and get signed by attorney, then log in the information into Center Base.
* Scan the Cover letter, Federal Express slip, and binder.
* Advise Closer that files are scanned for emailing to Borrower/Borrower’s Counsel
* Bookmark the binder and send out.
* Place the file in file room for follow up.
