Customer-Facing Application Engineer

This role is a customer‑focused technical professional serving as a primary point of contact for power monitoring and energy management systems. Provides end‑to‑end support across upgrades, troubleshooting, maintenance, and system optimization, partnering closely with customers and internal engineering teams to ensure reliable, high‑performing electrical monitoring solutions.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical contact for customers supporting power monitoring, EPMS, and energy management platforms
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, configuration changes, and enhancements in production environments
  • Troubleshoot software, communication, and integration issues across applications, networks, and devices
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, system health checks, firmware updates, and performance optimization
  • Support commissioning, validation, and configuration of meters and monitoring systems
  • Collaborate with customers to understand operational needs and recommend technical improvements
  • Document system changes, issues, and resolutions for customers and internal teams
  • Provide remote support and participate in occasional onsite maintenance activities
