Bilingual HR Assistant (Spanish Required)
Richmond | Full-Time
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support day-to-day human resources operations. This role is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of HR experience who is fully fluent in both Spanish and English and enjoys working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
⚠️ Full professional fluency in Spanish (written and verbal) is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation
- Support onboarding, including assembling new hire packets and assisting with orientation
- Assist with background checks, fingerprinting, and employment verifications
- Provide support with employee relations and offboarding processes
- Assist with recruiting coordination and candidate communication
- Conduct audits of HR files to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Support HR events such as open enrollment, employee engagement activities, and meetings
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1+ year of Human Resources or administrative experience
- Fluent in Spanish and English
Skills & Experience:
- Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English
- High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with HRIS systems (Paycom or similar) is a plus
