Job Description:
- Lead end-of-line (EOL) test plan development for new products and features in collaboration with firmware, software, and hardware teams
- Define and implement test strategies optimizing product safety, reliability, risk mitigation, and FMEA coverage
- Design, execute, and troubleshoot PCBA and electrical system components with hands-on testing and rework
- Analyze test data and clearly communicate findings to drive resolution of product issues with design teams
- Design and develop next-generation automated test hardware for efficient, repeatable validation
- Manage procurement, build, integration, and commissioning of functional test systems
- Develop and execute test procedures and automation from component-level through system-level validation
- Support board bring-up, bench validation, and design-for-test (DFT) improvements throughout development
- Participate in design reviews and support manufacturing test bring-up, yield improvement, and production readiness
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Hands-on ownership of PCBA design, including schematic capture and layout
- Experience with schematic and layout tools (Altium preferred; OrCAD or Allegro acceptable)
- Practical experience designing and debugging board-level power systems
- Direct involvement in board bring-up, troubleshooting, and failure analysis
- Ability to clearly communicate technical decisions, trade-offs, and root cause findings
- Comfortable working hands-on in a lab environment with test equipment and hardware
- Detail-oriented with strong collaboration skills in a cross-functional team environment
- Understanding of product development lifecycle from prototype through production, including test and release processes
