HR Implementation Project Manager – Dayforce
Location: Hybrid (minimum 3 days onsite)
Duration: Approximately 9 months
Status: Full-Time Contract
Pay Rate: $85-$100/hour (depending on experience)
Beacon Hill’s client is seeking an experienced HR Implementation Project Manager to lead a global Dayforce implementation supporting approximately 5,000 employees. The target go-live date is beginning of next year, with the project currently in the Discovery phase and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scheduled to begin in May.
This role is highly functional and HR-driven, focused on aligning HR operations, payroll, and talent processes with the Dayforce platform and ensuring strong adoption across the organization.
Project Overview
- Global Dayforce implementation (HCM and ATS)
- Phase 1: U.S., Canada, and Mexico (full functionality)
- Phase 2: Rest of World (employee access only; no Payroll or Time & Attendance)
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Talent, and business stakeholders to define future-state HR processes and workflows
- Ensure system design and implementation align with HR policies, compliance needs, and employee experience
- Lead data validation efforts to ensure accuracy and readiness from an HR and payroll perspective
- Plan and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), securing HR and business sign-off
- Support payroll parallel testing and compliance validation in collaboration with Payroll teams
- Drive change management, communications, and training to support end-user adoption
- Serve as the primary liaison between HR/business stakeholders and external implementation partners
- Proactively manage risks, timelines, and cross-functional dependencies through go-live
Qualifications
- Strong experience leading HR system implementations as a functional Project Manager
- Direct Dayforce experience strongly preferred; open to candidates with experience in UKG, ADP, or Workday
- Proven ability to partner with HR leaders and translate business needs into successful implementation outcomes
- Experience supporting global or multi-country HR initiatives
- Strong communication, change management, and stakeholder leadership skills
