Our client, a fast-growing community bank based in Austin, TX, is seeking a temp to permanent Customer Service Representative in Branch Operations to support daily banking operations and customer interactions. This individual will serve as a key front-line representative while also handling operational responsibilities including wires, ACH processing, account maintenance, audits, and internal balancing. Candidates must have experience working with Jack Henry SilverLake. The role is fully onsite, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and is part of a collaborative, tech-forward banking environment with strong growth opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:

Greet customers and assist with deposits, withdrawals, payments, and account inquiries

Perform general account maintenance and transaction processing

Generate and process wire transfers and assist with daily ACH / EIP processing

Balance internal accounts and GLs as needed

Handle transaction disputes and interest adjustments

Assist with audits and pull documentation for formal complaints or subpoenas

Answer phones and navigate a phone tree system

Support online banking, cash management, and bill pay

Open and close consumer and commercial accounts

Work directly with Jack Henry product support teams

Prepare reports, generate customer notices, and support operational projects
Qualifications:

Prior experience working in a bank required

Direct experience with Jack Henry SilverLake required

Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment

Comfort handling cash and financial transactions

Professional demeanor with strong reliability and attendance

Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred
