A well-established law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal/ Sr. Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in a busy litigation practice. This role provides substantive legal support under attorney supervision and is ideal for a seasoned litigation paralegal with strong trial experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive litigation support, including legal research, drafting correspondence, cite‑checking, and analyzing pleadings.
- Manage case files, discovery materials, and document productions, including privilege review.
- Utilize litigation databases, case management systems, and e‑discovery platforms.
- Assist with trial preparation and logistics, including witness files, deposition summaries, exhibits, and trial coordination.
- Prepare and e‑file pleadings and discovery in federal and state courts and with government agencies.
- Coordinate legal projects and communicate case information effectively.
- Supervise junior paralegals or project staff as needed.
- Attend client meetings, court proceedings, and internal case meetings.
Qualifications
- Trial experience required.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules and litigation procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and litigation‑related software.
- Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Education & Experience
Litigation Paralegal
- Bachelor’s degree or ABA‑approved Paralegal Certificate required.
- 10+ years of relevant litigation experience.
Senior Paralegal
- Bachelor’s degree required (or 18+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree).
- 18+ years of advanced litigation experience.
