M&A Execution Assistant
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $79,000 – $80,000 Annually
Schedule: Monday-Friday – 8am-5pm, with occasional after hours required for critical tasks that arise and are urgent
Location: Downtown Minneapolis, full time onsite
Beacon Hill’s Client is seeking an M&A Execution Assistant to support its investment banking and M&A advisory teams. This role offers hands-on exposure to live transactions and the opportunity to work closely with bankers in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

About the Role
The M&A Execution Assistant plays a key role in supporting transaction execution by providing administrative, organizational, and analytical support to deal teams. You will work closely with investment professionals, helping ensure transactions move efficiently while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction & Deal Support
- Prepare, revise, and distribute client-facing materials and internal documents used throughout the M&A process
- Support deal teams in assembling transaction-related materials such as company profiles, transaction timelines, and industry or market summaries
- Perform research and data gathering using CRM tools and external sources to support active engagements
- Participate in deal-related meetings, documenting key takeaways and monitoring follow-up items to ensure timely completion
Banker & Administrative Support
- Coordinate calendars for multiple bankers, prioritizing meetings, managing conflicts, and proactively adjusting schedules as needed
- Arrange domestic and international travel and facilitate expense report processing
- Draft, format, and proofread professional correspondence while exercising sound judgment with confidential information
Team & Office Coordination
- Act as a central communication hub for assigned bankers, liaising with internal teams across the organization
- Organize logistics for meetings and events, including conference room scheduling, catering, and audiovisual support
- Partner with other Execution Assistants and administrative team members to provide consistent coverage and seamless support
Technical & Professional Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel
- Demonstrated experience refining and formatting polished, client-ready presentations
- Ability to organize, maintain, and track data in Excel to support transaction workflows
- Strong Outlook capabilities, including complex calendar management and contact organization
Work Environment
- This is a full-time, onsite position

Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced, professional environment (financial services or professional services experience preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including heavy calendar management and presentation support
