Description of Role / Responsibilities / Project:
The Manager of Business Applications serves as the primary Business Relationship Manager (BRM) for our client’s Finance, Human Resources, and Legal organizations. This role owns the strategic technology partnership with these business functions and is responsible for translating business priorities into IT initiatives across our Oracle Cloud platform.
This individual will oversee strategic project delivery as well as ongoing enhancements and production support, partnering closely with internal teams and managed service providers. The role includes direct management of a Project Manager and Business Systems Analysts, ensuring delivery accountability, stakeholder satisfaction, and long-term platform stability.
The position requires a strong balance of business acumen, relationship management, and high-level technical oversight (approximately 10% hands-on technical involvement).
