Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Maple Grove, MN
Schedule: Monday-Friday, regular buinsess schedule of 8am-5pm
Work Arrangement: Full-time, onsite

Position Overview
Beacon Hill’s client is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to support and elevate their recruiting function during a period of continued growth. This role will be heavily focused on sourcing and hiring talent for manufacturing and engineering teams, while also overseeing recruitment vendors and administering the Paycom Applicant Tracking System.
The ideal candidate brings a strong passion for recruiting, a process‑driven mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end recruitment efforts for a variety of positions, with a primary emphasis on manufacturing and engineering roles.
- Partner closely with hiring managers and HR leadership to identify staffing needs and create targeted hiring strategies that support business objectives.
- Serve as the primary owner of the Paycom ATS, ensuring workflows, data integrity, and candidate experience are optimized across the recruiting lifecycle.
- Coordinate and maintain relationships with external recruiting agencies and staffing partners.
- Design and execute proactive sourcing strategies using job boards, social platforms, direct outreach, and employee referral programs.
- Establish and maintain recruitment relationships with universities and technical schools, including participation in campus hiring events as needed.
- Oversee the creation, consistency, and maintenance of job descriptions to ensure postings are clear, inclusive, and aligned with internal standards.
- Collaborate with the broader HR team to align recruiting initiatives with workforce planning, culture, and long‑term talent goals.
- Monitor recruiting activity and performance by tracking key metrics and providing regular updates and insights to leadership.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices, particularly within manufacturing and engineering talent markets.
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives to strengthen the organization’s presence and reputation as an employer of choice.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (required)
- Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience, with significant exposure to manufacturing and/or engineering hiring
- Proven experience implementing, maintaining, or managing an Applicant Tracking System; Paycom experience strongly preferred
