We are seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to support high‑volume hiring across multiple business units in a fast‑paced, construction‑focused environment. This role will partner closely with hiring managers and HR teams to fill both field and office positions while managing competing priorities and urgent hiring needs. The ideal candidate is energetic, resilient, and experienced recruiting within the construction, mechanical, or unionized trades space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full‑cycle recruiting for both field and office roles across assigned business units
- Support a high‑volume requisition load (typically 30-50 open roles), prioritizing critical and aging requisitions
- Partner closely with General Managers, HR partners, and leadership to understand hiring needs and timelines
- Source, screen, and submit qualified candidates efficiently for urgent and evergreen roles
- Manage union and non‑union hiring processes, including coordination with union hiring halls when applicable
- Conduct recruiter screens and move candidates quickly through the interview process
- Escalate challenges effectively and communicate delays, risks, or bottlenecks proactively
- Maintain accurate documentation and candidate tracking within an applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Participate in biweekly team meetings and weekly calls with hiring leaders
- Support hiring metrics, with an average expectation of approximately 12 placements per month
- Assist with special recruiting initiatives and process improvements as needed
