Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented and service‑driven Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of an affordable housing community in Roanoke, VA. This role partners closely with the Community Manager to ensure smooth operations, strong resident relationships, and ongoing compliance with affordable housing requirements.

What You’ll Do
- Support leasing, marketing, resident recertifications, and administrative operations
- Assist with rent collection, accounts payable/receivable, and delinquency tracking
- Serve as a point of contact for residents, addressing concerns professionally and promptly
- Help coordinate resident engagement and retention activities
- Maintain accurate records
- Partner with maintenance staff to ensure timely, high‑quality property upkeep
- Assist with reporting to track community performance and improvement opportunities
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ years of experience as an administrative assistant
- Experience with property management or leasing experience is preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and confidentiality
- Team‑oriented mindset with a resident‑first approach
