HR Onboarding & Engagement Coordinator (Contract)

Pay Rate: $25-$30/hour
Duration: 3-4 months
Location: Roseville, MN – Schedule: Hybrid (onsite Tuesday & Wednesday)

Position Overview

Beacon Hill’s client is seeking an HR Onboarding Coordinator to own and manage the end-to-end onboarding experience from offer acceptance through a new hire’s first week. This role supports a fast-paced hiring environment, onboarding approximately 10 new employees per week, while ensuring each individual receives a smooth, well-organized, and high-touch “white glove” onboarding experience.

This is a highly employee-facing role ideal for someone who is warm, organized, and passionate about creating a positive first impression for new hires.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute onboarding processes across the ATS (ClearCompany) and HRIS (Paycom), ensuring accuracy and consistency between systems that are not integrated
  • Act as a primary point of contact and ambassador for new hires, delivering a welcoming, personalized onboarding experience
  • Coordinate and track onboarding requirements, including background checks, drug screenings, Form I-9 completion, new hire paperwork, and photo badge setup
  • Schedule and support new hire orientations while managing onboarding-related communications and timelines
  • Partner with Culture Champions and HR team members to support employee engagement and culture-focused initiatives
  • Provide administrative support for offboarding processes, internal audits, reporting needs, and general HR coordination tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in HR coordination, onboarding, or a related human resources role
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Experience working with HRIS, ATS, or LMS platforms preferred
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and service-driven with a comfort level in highly employee-facing work
