Beacon Hill is seeking a hands-on Facilities / Mechanical Maintenance Technician with 2+ years of experience supporting lab, industrial, or manufacturing environments. In this role, you’ll maintain and troubleshoot lab infrastructure including HVAC test systems, pumps, valves, and utilities, ensuring systems remain safe, reliable, and ready for testing.
What you’ll do:
You’ll perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical systems, assist with installation of new lab equipment, conduct safety inspections (air, water, refrigerant), and maintain accurate service logs. You’ll work independently in a lab setting while supporting engineering teams by keeping systems operational and compliant with safety and LOTO procedures.
What you bring:
Strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read mechanical drawings/P&IDs, hands-on tool and diagnostic skills, and a reliable, positive attitude. Experience with HVAC, refrigerants, compressed systems, or certifications like EPA 608, forklift, or crane are a plus.
