Receptionist

Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Receptionist for a temp-to-permanent opportunity to create a welcoming, professional experience for visitors and employees. This role serves as the first point of contact and plays a key role in delivering excellent customer service while supporting day-to-day front desk and office operations. Ideal candidates bring a hospitality mindset, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and assist visitors, employees, and vendors with a friendly, professional presence
- Manage front desk operations, including temporary access badges, building access cards, lost & found, and general front-of-house support
- Support on-site meetings and events in partnership with administrative teams
- Respond to and escalate building-related requests (janitorial, facilities, mailroom, parking, copier services, conference rooms, access issues)
- Act as a point of contact between occupants and service partners to help resolve issues efficiently
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth daily operations
- Assist with special projects and initiatives that enhance the employee experience
- Perform additional reception and administrative duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ year of experience in reception, customer service, hospitality, or office administration preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a polished, professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to use sound judgment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels
- Proficiency with common office tools (email, documents, scheduling platforms)
