Our client is seeking a a polished, professional Receptionist to serve as the first impression at their corporate office in Cohoes, Albany. This individual will deliver a high-touch, concierge-level experience to clients, guests, and internal team members while ensuring seamless front desk operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, poised, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
This is a one month contract position from 05/25/26 to 06/30/26 with potential to extend. The role is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, 7 AM-4:30PM or 8:30AM-5PM. Business casual attire is required.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients and guests with a warm, professional, and polished demeanor
- Maintains visitor log and/or call record
- Manage incoming calls with exceptional phone etiquette and route appropriately
- Provides security passes/ badges
- Receives and send packages via couriers
- Administrative support as required: typing, filing, photocopying, binding books and preparing mailers
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hospitality experience or high-end corporate settings
- High school diploma or equivalent
Skills:
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational abilities and collaborative approach
