A growing plaintiffs’ firm seeks a Bodily Injury Litigation Attorney in Chicago. In this role, you will have autonomy over a caseload with support from an experienced team. My client offers long-term growth and upward mobility.
Responsibilities
- Manage bodily injury cases from suit through trial
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations
- Develop case strategy and conduct legal research
- Negotiate with carriers and opposing counsel
- Communicate case updates to clients
- Prepare matters for trial
Qualifications
- Active Illinois Bar in good standing
- 1+ years of personal injury litigation experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Illinois civil procedure
- Excellent writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Ability to independently manage a caseload
- Bilingual is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
In additional to base salary, settlement bonuses and a year-end discretionary bonuses are offered.
