Recruiter Specialist (Contract)
Location: Plymouth, MN (Hybrid)
Schedule: Monday-Wednesday onsite | Thursday-Friday remote
Duration: 5-month contract (potential for extension or conversion, no guarantees)
Compensation: $30-$35/hour
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role
Beacon Hill’s client in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Contract Recruiting Specialist to support high-volume hiring across a large, multi-state retail footprint. This is an immediate need due to increased recruiting demands and upcoming team coverage gaps.
This individual will play a key role in supporting store-level hiring needs, partnering closely with Store Managers and the internal team to ensure timely and effective recruitment for leadership roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for retail store leadership positions (e.g., Sales Leaders, Assistant Managers)
- Conduct initial candidate screens and assess qualifications
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with Store Managers
- Manage offer process and execution
- Partner with HR to transition candidates for onboarding (background checks, E-Verify, etc.)
- Provide recruiting support to locations experiencing hiring challenges
- Assist with training, operational support, and employee data entry as needed
- Maintain and track candidate activity within the ATS
Qualifications
- 2+ years of recruiting or sourcing experience (retail or high-volume preferred)
- Experience supporting full-cycle recruiting processes
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requisitions (15-20/month)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Experience with ATS platforms (SmartRecruiters preferred)
- LinkedIn sourcing experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
