Day to day: The Director of Software Development & Architecture will lead the modernization of a large legacy software platform, establish a 3-5 year technology roadmap, and drive the organization’s evolution into a product-focused software company. This leader will balance technical debt reduction with innovation, helping launch new digital products and services for anesthesiology education, certification, and assessment. The role is highly strategic, focused on architecture, productization, and organizational transformation rather than hands-on coding. Success requires a pragmatic leader who can modernize systems, influence stakeholders, and guide engineering teams through a multi-year transformation with a strong focus on risk reduction.
