Billing and AR professionals, we could use your help! Beacon Hill Financial is working with a client in the Portland area that needs a Billing Specialist to jump in quickly and help keep customer billing moving.
This is a great fit for someone who has hands-on Billing or Accounts Receivable experience, enjoys working through systems, and can follow a step-by-step process without needing a lot of hand-holding. The team has training materials available, but this person should be comfortable learning an ERP system and working through billing details with accuracy.
In this role, you would help support:
- Customer billing and invoicing
- Entering receipts and related billing activity
- Posting incoming payments
- Check deposits and cash application support
- Account reconciliation and billing record maintenance
- Follow-up on outstanding invoices
- Researching billing discrepancies and payment questions
- Various related AR and billing duties as needed
To be considered for this specific position, you would need:
- 1+ year of billing, accounts receivable, or related accounting support experience
- ERP, billing system, or accounting system experience
- Basic Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Ability to follow processes, ask good questions, and work through system steps accurately
This is an onsite opportunity with a client that needs help right away. There may be longer-term potential for the right person.
