Key Responsibilities
- Inspect semiconductor manufacturing tools with equipment owners to define demolition, upgrade, and installation scope
- Review supplier installation manuals, P&IDs, and utility specifications to understand requirements
- Verify point-of-use utilities including gas, power, cooling water, exhaust, and vacuum systems
- Confirm line sizing, flow rates, pressure requirements, and regulator specifications
- Validate utility drop locations, routing, and allowable line lengths for installation readiness
- Translate supplier documentation into site-specific documentation
- Develop and update Facilities Data Sheets (FDS) using AutoCAD or similar 2D CAD tools
- Coordinate with facilities, design, construction, and equipment teams to ensure smooth tool installation and identify design gaps early
Required Qualifications
- 2-10+ years of experience supporting semiconductor tool installations, facilities engineering, or fab design (Multiple skill level openings available)
- Must have experience working in a semiconductor fab environment
- Strong understanding of semiconductor facility utility systems (gas, water, exhaust, vacuum, power)
- Experience reviewing installation packages, P&IDs, and equipment requirements
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD or similar 2D CAD tools
- Ability to work directly with equipment/tool owners and cross-functional teams
