About the Opportunity

Beacon Hill’s client is seeking a motivated junior- to mid-level attorney to join its busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who is looking to develop sophisticated contract review, negotiation, due diligence, and data governance experience within a leading global law firm. The role offers exposure to a variety of commercial agreements, contract lifecycle management activities, due diligence projects, and document review assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements
  • Draft and revise contract provisions, including confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Conduct contract due diligence reviews in support of corporate transactions and other client matters.
  • Assist with document review
  • Collaborate with attorneys and client teams to support ongoing legal and business objectives.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active bar license in the state in which the candidate resides and works.
  • Approximately 1-3 years of legal experience, preferably involving commercial contracts, due diligence, document review, or transactional support.
  • Required experience reviewing, drafting, or negotiating Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and project teams.

Important Requirements

  • Candidates must maintain an active law license in the state where they live and work.
  • No concurrent employment is permitted during the engagement.
  • Solo practitioners are not eligible for consideration.
  • Plaintiff-side legal experience will not be considered.
  • Candidates must successfully complete the firm’s conflicts review process, including providing a detailed history of prior matters worked on.
  • Completion of the firm’s New Hire Packet is required, including acknowledgment of the firm’s no-concurrent-employment policy.
