Senior Analyst, SEC Reporting

We’re hiring a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst for a company in Central Phoenix to support financial and SEC reporting within a real estate investment environment. This role partners closely with accounting, portfolio management, and investor relations to deliver accurate reporting, support portfolio analysis, and ensure GAAP compliance. This is a contract opportunity and will be hybrid.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and support SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and related disclosures)
• Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting for leadership
• Analyze real estate portfolio performance and key metrics
• Review asset-level financial reporting and ensure accuracy
• Support preparation of earnings materials, investor presentations, and reporting packages
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Assist with technical accounting research and application of new guidelines
• Support valuation processes, including investment and debt schedules and rollforwards
• Partner with audit teams during quarterly reviews and annual audits
• Support process improvements, reporting automation, and data analytics initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (MAcc or advanced degree preferred)
• 3+ years of accounting, financial reporting, or audit experience
• Public accounting or SEC reporting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
• CPA or progress toward CPA (preferred)
• Strong communication and ability to work cross-functionally
