Marketing Assistant (3 Month Engagement)
Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Compensation: $50,000 annually (on a 7.5 average workday, 5 days a week this comes out to $25.64/hr)
Job Type: Contract (3-month engagement with potential extension or conversion)
Beacon Hill’s client is seeking a Marketing Assistant to play a key role in supporting marketing execution across digital channels, content production, and internal communications. This position partners closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure campaigns, materials, and communications are delivered efficiently and on schedule.
This is a hybrid role based in Minneapolis, requiring onsite presence three days per week (parking covered) and offering two remote workdays (equipment provided, excluding internet).
Key Responsibilities
- Create and publish landing pages, email campaigns, and LinkedIn posts using established templates and brand standards
- Support article and content development by handling formatting, applying basic SEO tags, and incorporating AI-assisted content tools as needed
- Manage and maintain the marketing content calendar, ensuring timely execution of deliverables and adherence to deadlines
- Monitor LinkedIn activity, help draft responses for engagement, and track performance metrics
- Implement on-page SEO best practices during website content setup and publishing
- Identify and recommend enhancements to website performance, usability, and content effectiveness
- Execute paid media campaigns, including Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads, based on direction provided by the Marketing Manager
- Assist in compiling and reviewing marketing analytics reports using tools such as GA4, HubSpot, and internal systems
- Design and develop PowerPoint presentations for webinars, internal meetings, and marketing initiatives
- Create digital graphics and visual assets using Canva or similar tools for email campaigns, social media, and events
- Maintain and organize a repository of branded templates and visual assets for ongoing team use
- Coordinate and distribute the internal marketing newsletter to support company-wide communications
- Provide support to marketing and event teams for company events and client-facing programs as needed
- Assist with additional marketing initiatives, administrative responsibilities, and ad hoc projects across the team

- Contract role with strong potential to extend (workload will be reassesed towards the end of the 90 day contract)
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite in Minneapolis, 2 days remote
- Parking is fully covered for onsite days
